Indulge in a rejuvenating, four-day quilting retreat hosted by 9 Patch Quilt Retreats at the Courtyard by Marriott in scenic Cedar City, Utah. Enjoy the perfect balance of relaxation and creativity in a retreat center tailored to quilting enthusiasts. Just bring your sewing machine and current project—we’ll take care of everything else.
What’s Included:
Accommodation & Amenities: Stay for three nights at the Courtyard by Marriott, where you’ll find our spacious, well-lit sewing center on the first floor. Hotel rooms are easily accessible, either by elevator or a short walk down the hall.
Two Daily Meals & Snacks: Our meal package includes two delicious meals per day along with a variety of snacks, so you can focus on quilting without any interruptions.
3200 Sq. Ft. of Dedicated Quilting Space: Each participant will have a dedicated 6-foot sturdy table (no wobbly plastic tables here), plus access to multiple cutting and ironing stations, a snack table, a display board, and quilt stands for showcasing finished pieces.
Amenities for Relaxation: Enjoy access to an indoor heated pool, hot tub, and fitness center. There’s also a peaceful outdoor deck where you can unwind, read a book, or enjoy a beautiful sunset.

Your Quilting Workspace
Each participant will enjoy their own dedicated 6-foot sturdy table with ample power outlets for your sewing machine, travel iron (up to 1000 watts), and other devices. Our spacious sewing area is designed to support all your quilting needs with well-lit, comfortable stations.
Included Project Kit & Instructions: Your registration includes a group project kit and instructions, with the option to participate if you choose.
Snack Sharing Table: Feel free to bring and share your favorite quilting snacks! It’s always fun to see what everyone brings to keep energy high while sewing.
Free Swap Table: Share any quilting supplies you no longer need—fabric, patterns, thread, tools, and more—with other retreat participants.
Barn Block Creation: This optional project for only $10 per block, you can create your own small 7.5" Barn Block. This hour-long activity includes all necessary supplies and patterns, and you’ll get to take your unique block home!
Dining & Refreshments
Enjoy two delicious meals per day plus snacks, with lemonade and water available throughout. You’ll also find a charming country store onsite for purchasing some goodies. Looking to explore nearby dining options? There are several restaurants across the street, as well as a shopping center with more restaurants and retail stores just two blocks away.

Left, Right, Center: Please bring 3 fat quarters per round. We’ll play up to 3 rounds (9 fat quarters total) for a chance to win even more fabric.
Quilting Bingo: No supplies needed—just come ready to win prizes!
Optional Quilting Services
If you have completed quilt tops ready for quilting, Deanna from Sewing Keepsakes—one of our esteemed hosting quilters—will be available to provide professional quilting services throughout the retreat. As a special offer for participants, Deanna is offering a 20% discount on quilting services for one quilt, with additional quilts welcome at her standard rates. This is a wonderful opportunity to add a beautiful, professional finish to your creations!
